With many things, there is a best time to do them. Sowing tomato seeds outdoors in December is generally not a wise thing if you want actual tomatoes to grow. Planting fescue grass is best done in the fall, not in August’s blazing heat. You can’t plow January’s snow in August, it has to be done when the snow falls. However, outdoor lighting installation here in North Carolina’s Triad and surrounding areas is not like that.

You’re outside having a great time and then realize just when the party is starting to get going, y’all have to go inside because the tiki torches aren’t cutting it. You can’t see each other. How about the fall? Is that a good time? Yes, for sure. The days are getting shorter, and we’re all thinking about pumpkin spice everything (whether you’re for it or against it!). We’re still outside here in NC, but it’s getting darker earlier. Lighting would enable us to stay outside even longer. In front of the fire pit. With marshmallows (but not pumpkin spice marshmallows. No.). And maybe some hot cider. Yum!
